No forms, no list, no analytics, and nothing asked about your hair

This site has no sign-up, no cookies of its own and no third-party tracking. What the server logs, what leaves with an outbound link, and how to ask about it.

This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no comments, no forms and no mailing list, and it asks you for nothing.

What is not collected

There is no sign-up box anywhere on this site, so no email address is stored, and there is nothing to unsubscribe from. Nothing here asks your age, your sex, your medical history or anything about your hair. No health information is collected, because none is requested.

No advertising network is embedded, no third-party analytics script runs on these pages, and no social or video widget is loaded from another company's servers.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Your browser stores whatever it normally stores for any website, and nothing here reads it.

Server logs

The server that hosts these pages keeps ordinary access logs — the address the request came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. That is how web servers work, and it is used to keep the site running rather than to build a profile of anybody. The hosting provider may keep its own logs under its own policy.

Three links here go to companies that operate affiliate programmes. When you follow one you arrive on that company's website, under that company's privacy policy, and it may set its own cookies and record its own visit. Which links those are, and what they pay, is set out on the payment and refusals page.

Ordinary references to regulators, journals and medical bodies are plain links to public pages. Following one is a visit to them, and the same applies.

Your rights, and where to send a question

Because nothing is collected there is very little to request: no profile exists, no record is held, and there is nothing to delete. If you want to ask about that in writing, or about anything on this page, the address is [email protected].

If this ever changes — an email list, an analytics tool, anything at all — this page changes on the same day, and the change is described rather than folded quietly into the text.
