Corrections, better sources, and the questions we cannot take

How to reach the people who write this, what kind of message gets a reply, and the questions that belong to a doctor instead.

Corrections are the useful kind of message, and the fastest ones name a document. Every grade on this site is arithmetic on a public source, so a link to a label, a regulator notice or a paper beats an opinion, including ours.

Write to [email protected]. There is no form on this site and no mailing list: nothing here collects an email address, so the only way to reach the desk is to send one.

What gets answered

  • A grade is wrong, and here is the source. Answered, and the row is changed if the source holds up.
  • A document has been superseded. Especially welcome. Approvals, clearances and safety notices are exactly what move a grade, and they move without warning.
  • A sentence contradicts a table on the same page. Answered and fixed. These are logged rather than silently corrected.
  • A treatment is missing from the index. Worth asking, though it only gets a row if both questions can be answered from a published document.

What cannot be answered

Anything about your own hair. No question about a particular scalp, a particular medicine, a dose, a combination or whether to start or stop something can be answered here, and it would be irresponsible to try: nobody at this address holds a medical qualification. Those questions belong to a GP or a board-certified dermatologist, who can examine you and order the tests that settle what is actually happening.

Requests to be listed, ranked, featured or linked are also declined. There is no placement to buy, and the rule that decides a grade is published so that anyone can check no placement was bought.
